What exactly is Cycling Logistics?
Cycling Logistics is a baggage transport service that caters to those cyclists participating in tours we support who don’t mind putting up their own tent. Your bags are hauled from campsite to campsite and are not removed from the trailer prior to your arrival in camp. WE DO NOT HAUL BAGS TO HOTELS.
What’s included:•Transport of gear (two bags and one camp chair) from camp to camp• Llama java in the morning (best Llama Java around!) Hot water and tea upon request• Cell phone charging (AC or DC)• A place to put your favorite cold beverages; your own private IceHole!• Mechanical assistance short of an overhaul• Your air mattress blown up with power blower• Don’t see it here? Ask us and we’ll let you know. When you are through riding for the day, secure your bike to our Hitchin’ Rack, kick back and relax in the shade of the Llama Lounge.
THE BASICS:• TYPE OF CHAIR: Please, no lawn chair or dining room chairs.•We require the type of chair that folds and has its own carrying case.•BAGGAGE REQUIREMENTS: No real limit on baggage size or weight – If YOU can move it,we can move it!•We DO require that gear be packed in a suitcase, duffel or sports-typebag. These kinds of containers must have the ability to close and stay closed.
JUST A FEW STEPS TO SIGN UP AND TWO WAYS TO PAY:1. Go to the “Book Here” page and choose the ride(s) you want to sign up for on the drop-down menu. Your selection will activate the payment via PayPal. Follow the prompts.2. If you would prefer to pay via check, print out the form accessed by the “Click Here” hyperlink and mail to the address on the form. NOTE: Space is limited.
Some rides, (Cycle North Carolina especially) fill up fast so if you are concerned about securing your spot, or have questions, please CONTACT US.
THE NOT SO SMALL PRINT:CANCELLATION POLICY for LLAMA LUGGING:Cancellations requested up to 2 weeks in advance of the event are eligible for a full refund or credit towards another event. A partial refund of 50% will be given for any time two weeks prior to the event.
NO REFUNDS the week of the event. IMPORTANT! It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Cycling Logistics in the event of cancellation.BAGGAGE TRANSPORT POLICIES:No cardboard boxes, shopping or plastic bags please. Items can be secured to the outside of containers but must be firmly attached. Not conforming to this policy can result in a denial of service and a refund. Bags are to be loaded no later than 30 minutes prior to the main baggage trucks’ departure time.
