Bike Virginia worked closely with design firm queue to create an iconic image of classic colors, shapes that are simple, memorable and eye catching. “Our goal in designing the re-brand for the Bike Virginia was to clearly unify the brand by connecting the three arms of Bike Virginia – The Bike Virginia Tour, Sunrise Grant Project and the soon to be release Ride Guide Website- under one umbrella,” said Juana G. Quick, president of queue, the agency working with Bike Virginia in its re-branding efforts. “A unified brand will help increase consumer awareness, strengthen the brand and create a beneficial versatility for all future branding efforts. We wanted to create a universal platform for Bike Virginia that will build on the support and awareness that the Bike Virginia Tour already has while equipping the organization with a strong and lasting brand presence for the future.”

The Ride Guide Website is an all new initiative that Bike Virginia will launch in Fall 2013. The site will provide a searchable database of places to bike, a calendar of cycling activities across the state, and listings for groups and businesses related to cycling. Content for the site will be community driven and will be maintained and operated by the Bike Virginia organization.  Bike Virginia relies on contributions, donations, and events, and selling merchandise to help support their mission.
