Bike Virginia organizes a full compliment of outings and activities for our Virginia bike event participants. Whether you want to enjoy an activity at headquarters, want to hop on one of our shuttles, or drive on your own, you’ll surely love the experience.
We are not like your average bike ride events, but a true vacation experience.
WOODSTOCK
Each day we offer bus outings as optional fun for our bike event participants.
Buses will make trips to Ft Valley Ranch and the Winery Tour on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday night a bus will shuttle to the Block Party in Strasburg.
Rt. 11 Outfitters will provide shuttles for Kayaking and Tubing.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY 3:00pm – 40 Passenger Day Glow Bus leaves for Ft. Valley Ranch 4:00 Ride Time – Horseback and Wagon Rides. Returns at 5:30pm. Limited numbers, reservations required. Limited to 18 Horseback Riders and 12 Wagon Riders. See Hospitality at the event for the Day Glow Bus sign-up sheet! Fort Valley Ranch is a Shenandoah Mountain dude ranch offering family fun in a beautiful setting.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY 4:30pm – 40 passenger Day Glow Bus leaves for Ft. Valley Ranch 5:00 Ride Time– Horseback and Wagon Rides. Returns at 6:30pm. Limited numbers, reservations required. Limited to 18 Horseback Riders and 12 Wagon Riders. See Hospitality at the event for the Day Glow Bus sign-up sheet!
SATURDAY & SUNDAY 1:00pm – 50 passenger Neon Bus leaves for 3 hour Winery Tour. Visit 4 of the best Shenandoah Wineries, 30-40 minutes at each stop! Returns at 4:30pm. Limited to 50-See Hospitality for the Neon Bus sign-up sheet!
SATURDAY & SUNDAY 5:00 pm – 50 passenger Neon Bus leaves for 3 hour Winery Tour. Visit 4 of the best Shenandoah Wineries, 30-40 minutes at each stop! Returns at 8:30pm. Limited to 50-See Hospitality for the Neon Bus sign-up sheet! Food Trucks will be closed when you return, so stroll into town for great food and spirits. Plan accordingly.
SATURDAY – 6:45pm – 40 Passenger Day Glow Bus leaves for Block Party in Strasburg, makes loops to and from Strasburg until 10:00pm
HARRISONBURG
PLENTY OF PARKING NEARBY at Harrisonburg, our second event headquarters; keeps your car handy—no need for shuttles to and from hotels.
EXCURSIONS
MONDAY & TUESDAY (12pm — 10pm) Buses will make trips to Downtown Harrisonburg. Harrisonburg is great for a walking tour of historic sites and wonderful shopping, or take the Pub Crawl (3pm — 8pm) of local breweries. See map below.
MONDAY & TUESDAY (12pm – 10pm) on the Hour the 25 Passenger Day Glow Bus leaves for Massanutten Resort. Bike Virginia Wristband gives you a special discount package to enjoy the resort all week long. Zip line, Waterpark, Golf, Tuesday night’s “Beer Lover’s Dinner” (limited numbers, reservations required) and so much more. See Hospitality for Day Glow Bus Sign-up sheets and Pay at the door. MONDAY & TUESDAY (12pm – 10pm) on the Hour the 25 Passenger Neon Bus leaves for Downtown Harrisonburg. Buses will drop-off at Brothers Craft Brewing, and pickup at Pale Fire Brewing.
