Official 2012 Jersey
Riding
Registrants will enjoy 5 days of bike routes (ranging from 50-100 miles) that are marked for easy following. No maps or GPS needed, just ride and enjoy (however GPS files are available). Most days will include multiple route options. Our routes are fully supported, patrolled by Support vans with rest stops at regular intervals and a lunch stop each day.
Commemorative Jersey or T-shirt
Sign up for the full tour and you will ride in style in your commemorative tour Jersey. The jersey comes with adult full tour registrations made before April 1. (Primal_sizing)See note below on selecting SIZE. A commemorative T-shirt will be provided to single day registrants, youth, and non-riders.
Food
You won’t go hungry at Bike Virginia. Snacks, fresh fruit, and Gatorade will be available at rest stops along the bike routes. A hearty cyclists’ lunch is provided for each day of riding. Vegetarian options available with prior reservation. Riders can also purchase breakfast and dinner meal plans for convenient dining. On-site food and snack vendors will be available at the camping area. (Yay, Rock Hill Creamery!)
Amenities
Tent camping is included with registration. Indoor (bedroll style) camping is included and available on a first-come- first- serve basis. Showers and rest rooms will be available at the camping area. Long term car parking is provided for those who like to leave their motorized transportation behind. You may also choose to stay in one of our official hotels where you will be eligible to receive an event discount.
Entertainment
Daily and nightly entertainment activities will take place at Headquarters or nearby locations. Look for shopping, outdoor recreation, festivals, concerts, live music, movies, and other similar activities. We’ll celebrate in a big way this year, it is our 25th Birthday!
Services
Riders can take shuttles to select activities and events from Headquarters. Campers will have free luggage transfer to our next camping location and back. You will have access to on-site vendors, massage, and bike repair services (additional costs apply).
For additional fees riders can take part in hotel services such as shuttle and luggage transfer, and our custom on-line training plan specially designed so you enjoy the Bike Virginia Tour.

*Jersey Sales and Free Jersey Registrations conclude on April 1, 2012. A limited number of jerseys will be available for purchase at the event.
Jersey Sizing: Primal Wear jerseys are engineered for the highest possible performance. To take full advantage of the technical properties of your Primal Wear jersey, the jersey should fit close to the body so that moisture is effectively transported away from the skin. For a looser fitting jersey, please order one size up from the sizes shown in this size chart Primal_sizing. The Bike Virginia Jersey is a Club fit, NOT a Race fit.
**Please note there will be an additional charge of $15 for mail-in registrations. With everything being automated online, we have to charge this fee for manually processing registrations. You can still use the pay by check option on the registration page. This will allow you to enter in all your registration information online and mail in your check.
