Ride, Explore, Relax
Spend your days visiting Virginia’s best tucked away places while pedaling at your own pace on our hand selected routes. In 2015 the6 day bike tour visits historic Abingdon Virginia and the surrounding communities for the weekend. Then we strike off to experience the great bike riding in neighboring Tennessee. Every day the two of you can choose from a selection of loop routes. Distances range from 20-108 miles, so there’s something to suit everyone. Stop along the way to enjoy our well stocked comfort stations in interesting locations, they are a fun way to learn about places you might otherwise have noticed.
Evenings at Bike Virginia
After a day in the saddles enjoy a relaxing evening of live entertainment at our event headquarters. Kick off your shoes and roll out a blanket where and listen to local musicians as the sun goes down. Or if you’re in the mood to see the town, take off on your own for a dinner for two or for exploring our host towns.
Camp Under the Stars or Relax In Your Own Hotel Room
If you’re a couple that likes crawling into a tent together, laughing and whispering as the crickets chirp, then you’ll be right at home in our headquarters camp. Enjoy being in the midst of the group, but create your own little haven in your campsite. If cool AC and pressed linens are more your style, that’s fine too. You can book a room for two through our hotel program.
