Tom Snyders, “The Bicycling Comedian,” has cycled to, and throughout, all 50 states (Hawaii was not easy), and in 33 countries on six continents.
on a recent, solo, 8,219 mile bike trek from Cancun, Mexico, through the entire length of both Central America and South America, to Ushuaia, Argentina, he broke the 150,000 mile mark of bicycle touring over the last 24 years!
Tom has done ten national television appearances. He has been featured on “Good Morning America,” Live with Regis & Kelly,” and on Comedy Central and ESPN. Snyders has also performed at more than 200 comedy clubs over the years.
“You Can’t Bring that Bike in Here!” is a family friendly, one-hour, one-man show. In addition to stories from 24 years on the back roads of America, and the world, by bicycle, it features a digital presentation of Tom’s photos of funny road signs, starting with a section of, “Signs you don’t like to see when on the road by bicycle!” National Lampoon used 208 of Snyders’ funny road sign photos in their book, “National Lampoon’s Big Book of True Facts.”His selection and presentation of the very best of the funny road signs is an incredibly popular part of the show — “Truth really is stranger than fiction,” quips Snyders. The show also features short and funny video clips of Tom on his bike in countries as diverse as: Egypt, Romania, Honduras, El Salvador, Holland, Sweden, Columbia, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Peru, Chile and Australia. As Snyders is fond of saying, “It’s not just a comedy show — it’s an adventure!”
