Shenandoah Valley bike riding is truly premium bike riding. It’s like no other destination with beautiful views, interesting history, and quiet country roads, that’s why Bike Virginia riders flock to join when we visit the region with our annual bike event. The valley is surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains and offers the perfect blend of valley riding and mountain climbing. There truly is something for every kind of rider there.
The views are divine. Rolling hills, sweeping farmland, lush green trees, and open blue skies make the perfect backdrop for a bike escape. If you need a summer escape, this area of Virginia is a great place to do it.
In addition to being rich with beauty, the region is dotted with delightful small towns that offer charm and amenities. In 2017 Bike Virginia will be hosted by 3 of those very towns: Buena Vista, Lexington, and Staunton. Riders will also roll through a selection of other small communities that form a network of charming residential, farming, and agricultural life.
