The Bike Virginia Tour will offer an all new rider experience this year, back to back century rides! 2 Days, 200 miles! Monday June 27, 2011 and Tuesday June 28, 2011.
Sign up today for one, or both. Or what the heck, come along for all 5 days of our tour. Click HERE for Registration Information.
On these fully supported century rides you’ll get fantastic views, rich history, and even see interesting geological features as you cruise along carefully selected routes.
On the first day our century bike ride will roll through the mountains and valleys to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our rest stops will include the scenic Chateau Morrisette Winery and Stone Wall B&B. On the second day we’ll meander through the very rural Ellett and Catawba Valleys outside Blacksburg.
Both Century rides leave from and return to Radford, Virginia.
As always, the routes will be marked with color coded signs each day of the ride. GPS files will be available in June for the tech savvy rider.
Registration includes lunch each day and free overnight tent camping. We’ll also make sure you’re well fed and hydrated with our rest stops every 15-25 miles.
Monday’s Routes- June 27, 2011
Monday, the third day of our 5 day bike tour will offer three ride choices: short, medium, and long. The century will be one of the most challenging of all the routes the 2011 year. If you love a long, beautiful, challenging century then you will be sure to love this one. We can even help you get prepared, check out our training page.
